BMX flatland is my passion ever since I started with my introduction to the sport. It is pure creative freedom and I love to challenge myself to learn new tricks every day.

BMX flatland is my passion ever since I started with my introduction to the sport. It is pure creative freedom and I love to challenge myself to learn new tricks every day.

A passion for sports was put into my cradle, but no other sport fascinated me the same way BMX did and does.

What turned out to be love at the first sight in 2002, became an important part of my life ever since and at long last my major triumph: BMX Flatland.

Although this sport and connected lifestyle seem so different to my job, there are a lot of commonalities to the challenges I have to face as a Post Doc in the field of leukemia research.

Patience, power of endurance and burning ambition encourage me to perform at highest levels and to reach my goals. My goals for the next years are to compete at as much international contests as possible, doing video projects and photo shootings and represent BMX Flatland by riding at shows and leading BMX workshops.

As a pionieer and first ever UCI BMX Flatland World Champion, the possibility that my sport may be part of the Olympic Games in 2024 gives me maximal motivation to set new benchmarks.

Beyond my sportive career, I would like to support the development of BMX Flatland and encourage youngsters and especially females to ride and reach their goals.
